Our Interstellar Doodle Room is free for all to have fun sketching, stencilling, and doodling using the provided resources.
Together we’ll turn the gallery into an evolving artwork of doodles, dreams and imagination inspired by our Space theme.
The Doodle Room is free to access; however, at busy times, for your safety and comfort, we advise you to book a free ticket for your preferred time. The quickest way to do this is online. Choose your timed slot and select the number of tickets you require. If you no longer require your ticket, please let us know so we can release it. Slots are for 1 hour.
The Doodle Room is open during normal admission hours from Saturday, 31 January to 1 March 2026. Tickets are only required between Saturday 14 and Sunday 22 February (Half Term). The Doodle Room is drop in at all other times. Tickets are free but donations to the museum are welcome.
The Outer Space Trail around the museum is £3 per child and includes a prize to take home.
The Doodle Room is suitable for all ages, but please note that children must be supervised at all times. We ask families not to take food and drink into the Doodle Room. We are happy for you to use our Courtyard Room and outdoor seating for picnics.
Only assistance dogs are permitted.
